What does a website cost?
Packages start at [$5,000] for one fixed price, scoped in your free site review. You can pay in full, or in two or three payments with the last one due at handover. After launch, the Care Plan is [$135/mo] and the Growth Plan starts at [$225/mo].
How long does it take?
Most sites go from yes to launch in [X–Y] weeks. You approve each stage before the next one starts, so there are no surprises at the end.
Who writes the copy?
We do. Messaging is part of every package: we interview you, write the words, and you approve them before design starts.
Can I update it myself?
Yes. You can edit text and photos yourself, and monthly edit hours are included in both plans if you'd rather not.
Do I own my site?
Yes. Once the final payment is made, the site is yours. If you ever leave the care plan, we transfer it to you for free.
Do you only work with businesses in Topeka?
No. Duramen Studio is based in Topeka, Kansas, and works with businesses anywhere. Every step, from review to launch, works the same wherever you are.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Any business that needs customers to find it, understand it and call. That includes dental practices, golf courses, trades, advisors and local service businesses.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site is built to be found: clear page titles, your services and service area named, fast load times and Google Business Profile guidance. Rankings depend on many things outside a website, so we never promise a position.
Do you do SEO or ads after launch?
Basic local SEO is included in every build. Ongoing ads and paid SEO are not part of our packages, but we can recommend people we trust.
Can we use my existing logo, photos and domain?
Yes. We work with what you have and tell you honestly if something is holding the site back. Your domain stays in your name.
What's in the care plan, and can I cancel?
Hosting, updates, backups and up to an hour of edits a month, done on a set day each month, for [$135/mo]. You can cancel with 30 days' notice, and we transfer your site to you for free.
What if I need more than two rounds of revisions?
Two rounds per stage cover almost every project. If you need more, we agree on it together first, so there are no surprise invoices.
